Tree Removal

Removing trees with care and precision.
1. Assessment & Planning
A team of technicians will go to the site of tree removal to assess the location, size, and shape of the tree, along with checking any nearby possible hazards and obstacles. Next, the climber will set up the lines by scaling the tree.

2. Safe and slow dismantling
After the line is set, the arborist will climb and start chopping the tree gradually, small pieces at a time. Then hand them to the ground crew by lowering them slowly.

3. Dismantling the trunk
Once all the canopy and branches are removed, the climber can decide, depending on the space, whether to descend and then fell the whole trunk with the crew or chop it top down.

4. Brush clearing & chipping
The crew will then start removing the green waste from the ground and put it in the wood chipper as part of the brush clearing and chipping process.

5. Final cleaning
Once the green waste is turned into a mulch, the team will do a final cleaning to leave the property in better condition than the time the job was started.

Many people rethink several times before opting for tree cutting services, and one of the main reasons is not knowing the cost of it. Often, finding affordable tree cutting services in San Marcos, CA can be a challenge. But there is a solution — you can get the best tree removal service at a reasonable price. We at Vista Tree Services pride ourselves on providing cost-efficient tree removal services without compromising on the quality of work. If you are worried about how much tree cutting and removing will cost you, there are a few factors that need to be taken into account that determine the price. The condition of the tree plays an important role; removing a dead or decaying tree costs more than removing a healthy one because it poses more risk to arborists and the crew. The location also affects the cost; trees that are easily accessible by cranes, trucks, and wood chippers are cheaper to remove compared to those near electric wires, slopes, stairs, or other structures. The type of tree matters too; smaller and softer trees cost less to remove than hardwood trees, which are tougher to chop and harder to dispose of. Size is another factor, as larger trees need more equipment and manpower, increasing the overall cost. While these factors influence the cost of tree cutting services, it can still be frustrating when you call a company to ask for a quote and hear the reply, “it depends.” At Vista Tree Services, we make it easier — just give us a call, and we’ll visit you for a free consultation and quotation for the job.

1. Do I need to prepare before the tree removal crew arrives?

Generally, you do all the tree removal and the cleaning work. But you can help us in saving time by clearing the area by removing the vehicles, personal belongings, and furniture before we arrive. We also recommend you stay inside and keep the pets inside or away from the location during the job and until we have cleaned the area.

2. Can you remove several trees in one day?

If you plan to remove multiple trees from the area, we recommend you do it at the same time. We have professionals who can handle vast scale removal, and it will also cost you less, since we offer such larger jobs in a package pricing.

3. Do I have to pay for getting an estimate for a tree removal job?

We offer a free assessment and a no-obligation and free quotation for the job. As a company, we are committed to serving our customers the best way possible, so we can also develop a tree removal plan that suits your needs and fits your budget.

4. Will it be difficult for me to replant another tree in the same place from where the tree was removed?

You can always replant suitable trees after the plant is removed. Whether you can plant another tree in the same place depends on the kind of removal done, i.e.,  stump grinding or removal, and the type of tree you want to plant. We suggest you ask our arborist, and they can offer you the best advice.
